Nadi Astrology gives greater emphasis on predictions. Karmic principle is also essential to Nadi Astrology. Discussion of Karma involves jeeva, the entity that bears the consequences of Karma. While the Jeeva is the subtle entity, the gross form through which it experiences the result of Karma is called Sharira. The gross form, Sharira is analogous to the planet whereas the subtle form, Jeeva is analogous to fine division in space called nakshatra. So, the Stellar Nadi Astrology can also be viewed as Sharira-Jeeva Nadi. In the language of Panchakosha, Sharira is Annamayakosha whereas Jeeva is Vijnanmayakosha.
